Christeens Summer Camp for Teens.
We have been spending one week in the camp in Kadarkút for about 8 years every summer. We expect teeanagers aged between 13 and 18 to come regardless of race, gender or religion J; teens who love God or want to get to know Him more, who are open to the Holy Spirit’s work; teens who would like to have a good time and make new friends.
Programmes: We don’t usually sleep a lot, the programmes start at 8am and finish at midnight. These are thought-provoking morning devotions, cell groups, numerous workshops and seminaries, the main evening event and various night programmes at the end of the day.
In Gallery you can find photos and videos to take a look at our camp life.
The main goal of the camp is to take a step forward and grow stronger in faith. The programmes focus on this both on a general and personal level. Each year there is a central message and a constant rhytm in the camp which are occasionally broken by colourful events, for example, Prayers’ Walk, The Day of Nations and RRS. This last one is especially important for us (you can read more about it in the submenu)
Anybody beyond 19 is very welcome, those who are willing to serve in practical areas (kitchen, guards, faculties/ workshops) or as group or seminary leaders.
Earlier camps
2002 – the very first camp, there was neither a central theme nor a media group so it mainly exists in our memories J
2003 – ”Légy TeSó” – Be Salt/ Be a Brother in Christ (a Hungarian language game)
2004 – 130 of us took part in an international camp called TeenStreet in Germany so there wasn’t a camp in Kadarkút
2005 – ”The Time Has Come”
2006 – ”My Face is My Fight” (a linguistic twist in Hungarian again)
2007 – ”Arena”
2008 – ”Purity! Do You Want It?”
2009 – ”Image – See Clearly!” (kép-más, that is, a different image – yes, a language game )
2010 – ”MENJ!” (expressing both heaven and the imparative of go in Hungarian)
